As the name suggests, wireless surveillance security camera, is a camera that does not have any wires plugged into it. This remote wireless security camera is basically a small battery-powered unit that transmits signals to a receiver, which could be placed anywhere from 700 feet to even 10 miles away, depending on the range supported by the camera model. The receiver unit is hooked to a television to allow live monitoring.
